“A perfect getaway!” - Sept 1, 2010 - Michigan
I knew we wanted to go to Anna Maria Island to celebrate our 32nd year wedding anniversary, so I did alot of research. I am so glad we chose The Seaside. It was just what we were looking for. The view was amazing. We were in the upper floor room 9, I believe, and we had the whole deck next door to our room to ourselves. It was so private. We walked the beach and took the free trolley as close to Bean POint as we could then walked the rest. It was beautiful. We went to the Rod & Reel Pier for a drink, it was just that a fishing pier, that was a bit smelly but quaint. You can bring your own food and use their gas grills to save money. Their pool was small but nice for a break from the salt water. Very relaxing and we definitly reccomend it to our friends.
“A Little Piece of Heaven” - August 24, 2010 - Columbus, Indiana
A Little Piece of Heaven - This was our first impression when we opened the doors to our efficiency at the SeaSide Resort, Bradenton. My husband and I spent 6 glorious days there during the first week of August, 2010. We chose SeaSide Resort based on all the reviews I read on this website and also based on the Seaside Resort website.
Our experience was more then we could have hoped for from the first meeting with Mark when we arrived to the breathtaking views of the gulf and the sunset. The efficiency had everything you could possibly need and it looked just like SeaSide’s website, much to our surprise.
After 4 days we moved to the Penthouse and I cannot tell you how wonderful the Penthouse is. If you are traveling with more than two you should look at booking the penthouse. It is like having your own private home. It was magnificent! Your own private deck, living room, dining room and private bedroom. It sleeps six and I understand can be made into a two or three bedroom with up to three baths.
Mark and Megan did an outstanding job of seeing that all of our needs were granted. What a pleasure to find such outstanding customer service in today’s world and what a piece of heaven for people who just want to get away from it all.
We have stayed at 5 star resorts on Sanibel and Marco Island and I would select to stay at SeaSide Resort, Bradenton over them time and time again.
Thank you SeaSide, Bradenton; don’t change a thing. You made our 30th wedding anniversary truly wonderful!

“Absolutely lovely location” - August 8, 2010 - Saint Louis, Missouri
Firstly, this is a very small complex that sits right on the beach. If you want a hotel/resort experience, look elsewhere.
With that out of the way, let me express just how much I loved staying here. The staff were friendly and helpful and I really liked them. The location was breathtaking if you're into amazing Gulf sunsets and clean, white sandy beaches.
Each room has its own refrigerator and microwave which I found quite sufficient. If you need more, reserve a studio as these also have an oven/stove. Regardless, there are three propane barbecue pits outside for any grilling that you'd like to do.
The daily towel exchange worked very well. I put my dirty towels outside the room before 11am every morning and I had fresh ones shortly thereafter.
Another really nice touch is that no matter which type of accommodation you have, there's also a deck for you to sit on just outside your room. You can also use the resort's deck chairs which are just beyond the room decks, and on the "private" part of the complex. Only guests have access to this.
There's a nice swimming pool too, but really, with the Gulf being so close I did all of my swimming there instead. I want to say that I was blown away by just being able to walk out of my room, onto the beach and into the water. I live in the Midwest and don't have the luxury of swimming in the warm ocean at 11pm. I'll never forget it.
I can only recommend this location to everyone. I loved it.
“Spectacular waterfront views and amazing sunsets! Closet to the beach!” - August 8, 2010
We recenty visited Seaside for a family getaway. I loved that this resort was steps from the beach. The room was nicely decorated as well updated. The kitchen area was clean as well as the bathroom. They thought of everything for you at the Seaside. Its like a home away from home. We had a beach umbrella, all kitchen ware to cook and eat. The grills that were poolside were clean and new. Mark . . the front desk man was very helpful and answered all my questions about dining and the island. I also fell in love with Anna Maria. We will definelty be back!!! Thank you SEASIDE for the memories. I also have to add that the rooms are sound proof and you don't hear a thing once that sliding door is closed.
“This is THE place to relax on Anna Maria Island - simply wonderful!” - July 26, 2010 Punta Gorda, Florida
The staff at Seaside Inn are great and go all out to make sure your stay is wonderful. The rooms are all decorated in a truly delightful tropical design, baskets of beach towels, nice little touches throughout. Clean, clean, clean and it's so nice to walk out the door to a great little private patio right there on the beach - I just can't say enough to let you know what a dreamy place this is. They've recently added a perfect little pool and there is nothing the staff isn't willing to do to make sure your stay is one you won't forget. Don't hesitate, we've stayed there several times over the past few months and can't wait to go back there again.
“A Cozy, Relaxing Hidden Treasure” - July 18, 2010 Pittsburgh, Pa
My wife and I have stayed at the Seaside the last two years and have already booked our stay for next year. The Staff are very friendly and helpful from arrival to departure. The 10 rooms are well kept and stocked. Each room has a deck with a table, loveseat, chairs and a beautiful view of the Gulf. Just off the deck there are dual lounges for each room. The water is so close and the beach is clean. The Resort is set up to be calm and relaxing, but there are many activities nearby, so you can be as active as you want. Take advantage of the stocked kitchen in your room, the grill outside or go to the many non-chain restaurants on the island. Hang out on the deck, the pool or the Gulf. Whatever you feel like doing. This is the perfect place to de-stress and recharge your batteries for handling life. At the end of most vacations I'm ready to head home. But I can truly say that when I left the Seaside, I didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back.
“Beautiful location and view, right on the beach.” - July 17, 2010 Mt. Pleasant, Iowa
The resort was in a great location. The photos on the website represented the room exactly as it was, beautiful! It was great being able to be right on the beach. We will definitely return to Seaside Inn and Resort. The customer service was very good, staff was very friendly and helpful.
“Amazing” - July 3, 2010 Orlando Florida
The Seaside Inn Beach Resort was beautiful and the location was incredible. It’s right on the beach. There are only ten rooms and they all look out over the beach on the Gulf of Mexico. We found the room just like the photos on the website. It was very nice.
The first time we stayed in this hotel was last May 2010 and stayed in one the of the Front Gulf Rooms because that's the only one available at the time - our stay was wonderful and relaxing . We loved it so much and decided to go back and stayed again at this hotel and stayed at one of the studios ---love it , love it!!!!
My husband and I are thinking about going back for the third time sometime this year and will definitely staying at this hotel again!!
“Paradise On The Beach” - February 19, 2010 Bradenton Florida
My husband and I rented the penthouse at the Seaside Inn for two evenings and had a really wonderful time. The accomodations were fabulous. The kitchen was well stocked with all that was needed to dine in. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The bathroom combined old world charm with the modern conveniences of today. From our living room, we had unbelievable views of the Gulf and the beautiful sunsets only seen from the West Coast of Florida! We enjoyed our walks on the beach, naps on the lounge chairs and brief conversations with the staff. We were pleasantly surprised by the new pool! We are already booking our next stay for May 2010.
“My favorite respite at the Seaside Inn” - January 26, 2010 Indianapolis. IN
The Seaside Inn at Bradenton Beach on Anna Marie Island has been a favorite spot for a vacation or just a respite for over 20 years. Anna Marie has several ethnic restaurants such as Uma's for pizza, Mr. Bones for cajun, The Beach House for dinner and dancing on the beach or the Crepe Place for a great French breakfast or lunch. The Seaside Inn is a small Inn with great service on the beach. The rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. Each unit has a kitchenette with everything you need. Just stop at Publix, pick up some goodies and spend the day on the white beach, shelling, enjoying the Dolphins playing and watching the sunset. They have a great variety of books, movies and will let you use the computer to print out a boarding pass. The staff is gracious and make your stay as memorable as the location. The island has many activities all year round. Have a great time! Sheryl Smith, Indianapolis, IN.
“Loved this place” - January 2, 2010 Georgia
Right on the beach! Best view on the island. Perfect for a couple or a couple with a young child. The room was nicely appointed, the bed was firm and comfty. While the room and the kitchenette were a little small, everything was adequately sized, especially for breakfast and lunch. The grills were conveniently located and we were able to easily grill some burgers and shrimp for dinner. My recommendation is to bring a toaster oven and a blender. The staff and other guests were friendly. Best part was that we were RIGHT ON THE BEACH. No chairs to carry. Just step outside the patio and you are there! Loved listening to and watching the waves. Loved Anna Maria Island!
“The best all around place to stay in the area when on the Gulf of Mexico” - Dec. 28, 2009
Burtonsville, Maryland
Finding value and comfort at one time in beach resort areas can be challenging. Weekly condo rentals can be overkill and even wind up with rooms in disrepair as they are not owned by the company you pay. Daily hotel alternatives can be a stark cookie cutter experience. The Seaside is a delightful in-between alternative. One of three resorts in the area. the rooms at this one are right on the beach, cozy, impeccably finshed, extremely clean, efficiently sized with a small kitchenette, and have all the comforts of cable and wi fi for an incredible value. Whenever in the area, I would highly recommend these resorts as an all around value for singles, couples and families.
“A Gem by the Sea” - November 25, 2009 Tampa, Florida
Sometimes we all need to get away from the stresses of life. After five days at the Seaside Inn Beach & Resort, I felt soothed, renewed and rejuvenated. The careful attention to detail was evident in many ways. From the smiling, warm welcome I received on my arrival, to the staff's helpful recommendations on where to eat, shop, sightsee and how to use Anna Maria Island's free trolley service, to the beautifully decorated (tropical-style) room with a well-appointed kitchen (they even had a corkscrew on hand!), to the lovely toiletries in the bathroom, I felt pampered and well taken care of. And the location cannot be beat. My own private deck, furnished with comfortable, padded chairs, loveseat and a table large enough to hold a good-sized meal for two, had steps leading down to the white sand beach and ocean. I fell asleep to the sound of waves gently lapping the shore each night, and that's the sound that greeted me each morning as well. A quiet, peaceful, gorgeous setting--combined with one of the most genuinely friendly and helpful hotel staffs I've encountered (and I travel a lot for work) and a beautiful room and personal deck with a spectacular ocean view--make the SeaSide Inn Beach Resort a true gem by the sea.
“SeaSide Resort - A beautiful piece of paradise right on the Gulf” - November 13, 2009 - Hayward, CA
My father and I have been coming to the Gulf Coast for ten years. Five years ago we discovered SeaSide Resort and we keep coming back. The Penhouse is a beautiful spacious apartment equipped with everrything you could possibly need. The views from the living room, dining room and the private deck (second floor) are spectacular any time of day or night. There are no high rises on Anna Maria Island plus you are so close to the Gulf you think you are staying in your privately owned villa. Staff is wonderful and we never tire of returning.
“Best vacation wonderful resort” - October 25, 2009 - Ellwood City Pennsylvania

“Great Vacation!” - October 24, 2009 - Higle, AZ
I have to say I was totally impressed with SeaSide Inn all aspects it really was a "Perfect" vacation. I stayed in a studio room and everything was perfect, the rooms were VERY clean, and location was amazing! When my family checked-in the office girl was so pleasent, I will agree it's NOT like a huge resort with 5 workers waiting to be at your beck-in-call and as was a tag nervous because she looked very young but she was very nice, she introduced herself checked us in in less than 5 minuets and helped explain some of the places on the island. I have 2 young daughters and she took time to show them the toy closet and all the sand toys. She was very professional and polite! Anna Maria Island is such a beautiful beach and I could not be more pleased with the resort! I recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller, more "exclusive" place to stay it does not have all the bells and whistles but it's a home away from home and was a very relaxing trip!
“Excellent Relaxation” - October 3, 2009 Florida
I have stayed at this resort for over 2 years now everytime I travel to Bradenton for business. When I first stayed I noticed it for the diamond in the rough that it was at that time. Since then, it has been totally renovated. Gulf front studios are the perfect end to a day. After taking a long walk on the beach, relax on your own private patio overlooking the gulf and watching the sunset. This resort sits directly on the beach and cannot be beat by any other resort if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing at home feel. The upstairs rooms have been renovated also with a deck for relaxation and overlooking the gulf and you can see dolphins frolicking just about every day. I have stayed at several locations but I will always stay at this one. No other can exceed the service and the excellence of this resort.
“Peaceful and relaxing with a great view” - October 1, 2009 - North Carolina
I have stayed at this hotel twice and have loved every minute and will return any chance I can. If you love the beach this is the hotel for you. Just steps to the ocean. Watching the ocean in the morning while eating breakfast outside on your patio. Then enjoying the sunset from your patio every evening. Who could ask for more.
LIke i said if you love the beach this is a most stay place. Once you go you will want to come back again and again.
“Great Location and service. Most relaxing vacation I have ever experienced.” - September 20, 2009 - Ohio
Love this resort! Service was great and location is remarkable. Everything you need is right on site for your use. Beach toys, chairs, floats, and umbrellas. Great views of the ocean. My husband and I rented a room instead of a suite. The room was very clean, but a tad small. The porch was a wonderful addition to the room and we spent most of our time there or on the wonderful padded lounge chairs outside of the room. We definitely will return. Closest room to the water I have ever had at a beach location.
“Serenity accompanied by water views and beautiful sunsets!” - August 17, 2009 - Coral Springs, FL
We have spent a week at Seaside Inn the past three years and have reservations for a return visit in September 2009. During our last visit, renovations were in progress so we look forward to seeing the results. However, Seaside Inn has always been a peaceful, serene locale surrounded by beautiful views and friendly associates. Looking forward to our next visit and many more in the future.
“Most Relaxing vacation I've ever been on!” - July 24, 2009 - Massachusetts
he room was exactly as pictured on the website. Lovely tropical colors, tastefully decorated & a comfortable king bed. The location is the biggest asset of this small hotel, unobstructed view of the ocean, perfect sunsets. The outside deck was a good size so it was like having another room, great place for morning coffee and cocktails at night!
“Our Little Piece of Heaven, Anna Maria Island” - Sunday, June 28, 2009
eff and I have always loved going to the beach, so I wanted him to have a little getaway while he was home. One of the ladies I work with told me about Anna Maria Island and this little place called Sea Side Inn...she said it was like paradise. And it was!!!! All the rooms faced the Gulf of Mexico, and the first floor patios all opened to the beach. How wonderful was it????? Here are some pics to show you! Jeff and I have already decided that we will be going back there again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a little piece of heaven! View entire blog/photos here...
“Beautiful stay at a beautiful beach!” - May 28, 2009 - Miami, FL
Pristine beach old Florida style. This resort is situatued on a spot where children can play in the surf while mom works on her tan and dad fishes for Snook from the shore.
We stayed in the penthouse suite and now I wouldn't sty any place else. The suite is situated on the second floor of the resort, with sliding glass doors that open onto a faulous deck, facing the Gulf.
The resort also provides all the beach accesories you would want (chairs, umbrellas,toys,floats...)
